In 1999 JAB ANSTOETZ took a majority holding in the international textile manufacturers CHIVASSO. The company, which is based in Holland, was founded in 1991 in Zoetermeer, close to The Hague. The design-orientated company produces decorative and furnishing fabrics and wall coverings from exclusive, high quality materials for individualists who value modern, elegant design.

The Amsterdam designer Marty Lamers has created in co-operation with Ralph Anstoetz a collection which completely stands out. In Showroom Vol.1 ideas have been put into reality which are unique and show great creativity and design. Earth-coloured tones dominate, besides anthracite, white and – with one exception – subdued variations in yellow. Showroom Vol.1 is textile art at the highest level. With Showroom Vol.2 the Dutch designer Marty Lamers continues the success of his first collection and created together with JAB ANSTOETZ a second textile masterpiece with two factors in mind: unconventional design & material compositions. GRILL is a real eye catcher. A delicate transparent ground fabric is the frame for a large diamond-shaped design woven as a fill coupe. TUBE presents itself with an expressive seaweed design and combines effect with depth.
