Welcome to the Thought Provoking and Bold World of Creazioni - 30/01/2009
Interiors Designers and Specifiers Trendenza is now stocking the new Creazioni range. The brand created by Christina Gattei is an offshoot of parent company Silik. What’s exciting is that Creazioni, based in Italy is now really starting to gain mass market appeal with selected stockists in the UK featuring their product ranges. The Creazioni look is attention grabbing but fun at the same time.
Their overall aim though is – a touch of simple good taste and their designs marry the bold use of a kaleidoscope of colours with hand painted finishes on a diverse range of robust furnishings. Primarily created for home furnishings the design’s could easily be transposed and used to furnish boutique hotels and architectural projects - such is their diversity.
The signature use of hand painted designs on their bespoke beds as well as a slightly oversized look to their seating makes for very comfortable furnishings that can work with the rooms existing interior design or contrast dramatically against it to create a style statement.
What Creazioni do best though is take the styles of the past and relaunch them in a new light that brings facets of their various precious qualities but at the same time undermining their authority from within by camouflaging them as it were with lively colours, unusual materials and unprecedented finishes. This is the stylistic signature of Creazioni which is never short of a surprise or coup de theatre.
The full collection is available through Trendenza and a selection of the items can be viewed on the companie’s website www.trendenza.co.uk or by visiting the showroom. Prices start from £144 ranging to £4k and upwards for bespoke pieces.

Becki Linley, Trendenza’s Creative Director commented ‘We were approached to look at the Creazioni collection and were immediately struck with its seductive and original if somewhat ironic design concepts. As a collection I feel it sits tremendously well with our clientele who seek these avant-garde, eclectic and courageous colourings coupled with contemporary awareness particularly in the commercial and private residence domain. This elegantly designed Italian furniture, blended with theatrical connotations and luxuriant fabrics brings about a visually stimulating and literally awe inspiring collection.’
